This detailed map published in 1839 by David H. Burr (late topographer to the Post Office,) Geographer to the House of Representatives of the United States, shows relief by hachures, drainage, and township and county borders. Cities, towns, canals, roads, and railroad lines are noted. Parts of lower Canada are visible.
