Description

Bird's eye view of the city of Chillicothe, Livingston Co., Missouri 1869. Drawn by A. Ruger

Reproduction map of the community known as Chillicothe, MO, drawn by Prussian born Albert Ruger. Known today as the Home of Sliced Bread, Chillicothe is located near the Grand River and was named after the nearby Shawnee band and village. Chillicothe is Shawnee for "Big Town".
