Reproduction aero-view map of Somers Point, New Jersey drawn by Rene Cinquin and published by Hughes & Cinquin in 1925. The settlement, first called Somerset Plantation, was formed on the Great Egg Harbor Bay in the late 1600's. The Somers Mansion was built in 1725 by landowner John Somers along Shore Road. The town, named for the Somers family, was incorporated as a borough in 1886, and reincorporated as a city in 1902. The popular Seaside Theatre on Bay Avenue operated in Somers Point as a motion picture venue until the mid-1970's.

The map from 1925 includes Somers Point streets, buildings, piers and railroad route. It features inset illustrations of the following:
