Description

Salem, N.Y. Drawn & published by L. R. Burleigh. Burleigh Lith. Est.

This reproduction bird's-eye view map of Salem, New York was published by the Burleigh Litho. Est. in 1889. Mainly a farming community, Salem, in eastern Washington County was an important military town during wartimes.
