Reproduction bird's-eye view of Findlay, Ohio, including West Park, drawn and published by Burleigh & Norris in 1889. The county seat for Hancock County, Findlay lies along the Blanchard River. It was incorporated in 1887 as a city. By that time Findlay had become an oil and gas center. Other industries of the area included woodworking and furniture manufacturers, brick manufacturers and a woolen mill. Findlay was also recognized as a fine glassmaking community with several glass factories established there, manufacturing fine tableware, bottles and window panes. There were several newspapers in Findlay at the time including including one printed in German language only.

The map includes clearly labeled street names showing railroad traffic. It features lower inset illustrations of "West End". Complete reference list below.
