This panoramic print of Du Bois, Pennsylvania was drawn by Thaddeus Mortimer Fowler and published by T. M. Fowler & James B. Moyer in 1895. Du Bois was incorporated as a borough in 1881. Named for mill owner John Du Bois, the town was served by the Buffalo, Rochester and Pittsburgh Railroad.

The St. Catherine��s Parochial School building was built in 1889. The Du Bois Business College was organized in 1892.
