This panoramic print of Union City, Pennsylvania was drawn by Thaddeus Mortimer Fowler and published by T. M. Fowler & James B. Moyer in 1895. Union City was established in the late 1700's along the South Branch of French Creek.

By the mid-1800's Union City was being served by both the Pennsylvania and Erie, and Atlantic and Great Western railroads. When oil was discovered in Pennsylvania, a number of refineries conducted business in Union City.

Union City maintained several chair and other furniture factories in the late 1800's.

The map from 1895 includes labeled streets, buildings, bridges and railroad routes.
