This bird��s-eye view print of Wickford Village, Rhode Island was drawn and published by O. H. Bailey & Co. in 1888. Wickford was established in the 1600's in a cove off Narragansett Bay. It prospered in its early years as a fishing and boat building village, catering to the many interested visitors that congregated there. Its waterways offered excellent sailing and fishing opportunities, while its ornate mansions and resorts offered luxurious relaxation.

The village of Wickford is now part of the North Kingstown metropolitan area.
