This bird’s-eye view print of Hopkinton, Massachusetts was drawn and published by O. H. Bailey & J. C. Hazen in 1880. Hopkinton was settled in the early 1700's. Agricultural and horticultural interests were important to the earliest settlers.

In the mid-1800's, several boot and shoe manufactories emerged in Hopkinton. The community’s economy revolved around the shoe factories in the late 1800's.

The illustration includes labeled streets, buildings and railroad route. There are inset illustrations of the following:
