This arrangement of views of Rochester, East Rochester and Gonic, New Hampshire was drawn and published by Henry Wellge, Norris & Wellge Co. in 1884. Rochester, and Gonic to the south, were settled in the 1700's. Timber harvesting was aggressively done in the early years, and later, farming.
