View of Glendale, Berkshire County, M.A., 1890 / drawn & published by L. R. Burleigh.

This bird’s-eye view print of Glendale, Massachusetts was drawn and published by Lucien R. Burleigh in 1890. Glendale is a small community west of Stockbridge that, in the 1890's, was the site of a large woolen mill and a manila paper mill. Glendale prospered as a result of these mills.

The village was served by the Housatonic Railroad.

The illustration includes labeled streets, buildings, waterways and railroad route. An inset illustration of Charles E. Callender’s Manila Paper Mills is displayed at the lower left.
