Reproduction Printed on Wood
This fine piece of Americana art features a map of the United States
produced entirely from vintage license plates. The original art piece was
created using authentic vintage license plates that were hand carved and shaped
into the distinct form of each state. Forty-eight states are individually
represented, each by their own state license plate. The USA license plate map is
the signature piece from artist Aaron Foster. Aaron takes his inspiration for this
piece from his passion for collecting old globes and antique classroom maps.
Map and wood grain are screen printed onto solid wood framework. Metal rings
attached to the back of the frame allow for easy mounting of the map.
Please note that this is a high quality reproduction that has been printed on wood and does
not feature any actual license plates. An original piece hand produced by the
artist from license plates and reclaimed wood sells for an astounding $3,900.00.
