Yes. Custom area wall maps can be centered on any location to show exactly the area you need, from a single neighborhood to an entire metropolitan region. You define the geographic boundaries, and the map is produced to fit those specifications.
Using our map selection tool, you can enter the center point as an address, city name, or county. Drag the selection box to define the map area. Once the area of the map has been defined, a preview will be generated. You can then either add the map to the cart or go back and adjust the area.
Custom area maps typically include streets, highways, geographic features, city and town names, county boundaries, and points of interest. Information on the map may vary by the map style chosen. The level of detail depends on the map scale, print dimensions, and area size.
Custom area wall maps typically require 7 to 10 business days, depending on the material option selected. Rush production may be available for time-sensitive projects.
A company logo and custom title can be added to the map. Additional customization beyond this is not possible as these maps are generated from non-editable base maps.
Custom area maps can be produced in standard sizes listed on the product pages, from small desk references to large wall displays several feet wide. Common business sizes range from 36×48 inches to 56×70 inches. The map scale adjusts to fit your chosen area within your chosen size. Yes. Lamination is available and recommended for maps that will be used for planning, marking with dry-erase markers, or displayed in high-traffic areas. Laminated maps resist moisture, fingerprints, and surface wear while allowing write-on/wipe-off functionality.
Modifications to our selection of custom area maps are not possible, as the maps are generated from a basemap service that produces static maps. We can offer manual cartographic services if you need a more specific type of map or a map generated with your own data.
