The antique celestial map was originally published in 1744 by Augustae Vindelicorum. Featured on the map are stunning baroque drawings of constellations and astrological signs. Each sign of the zodiac is illustrated. Insets depict Copernican hypothesis, the Ptolemaic hypothesis, the Tycho Brahe hypothesis as well as phases of the moon, effect of the moon on tides, and annual orbit of earth around the sun.
