This panoramic aero-view print of Concord, New Hampshire was drawn and published by A. F. Poole in 1899. Concord was settled in the early 1700's as Penacook Plantation and then Rumford, before finally receiving the name Concord in 1765.

New Hampshire was made a state in 1788, and in 1808 Concord was designated as the state capital.

Concord was well-known for its fine furniture makers in the 1800's. Granite was also quarried aggressively at Concord. The community was connected to Boston by way of the Middlesex Canal. It was a major railroad center at the turn of the twentieth century.

The map includes labeled roads, bridges, buildings and railroad route. Featured are detailed illustrations of the turn-of-the-century architecture of Concord.
