This panoramic print of Hinsdale, Massachusetts was drawn and published by Burleigh Lithograph Establishment around 1887. Hinsdale was a busy mill town in the 1880's. The textile mills at this location along the Housatonic River produced woolen goods that were shipped throughout New England using the Boston & Albany Railroad. Hinsdale prospered as a result of the mills during this era.

The illustration includes labeled roads, buildings and railroad route.
