This panoramic print of Salt Lake City, Utah was drawn by Henry Wellge and published by American Publishing Co. in 1891. Salt Lake City is portrayed here twenty years after the Transcontinental Railroad connected it with eastern and western points. Salt Lake City maintained as an agricultural and horticultural community with an emphasis on educational interests.

The colorful map includes labeled streets, buildings and vicinity. Great Salt Lake and its islands of the era are shown n the distance.
