Description

Shortsville, N.Y.

This reproduction bird's-eye view map of Shortsville, New York was published by Burleigh Litho. in 1892. Shortsville, in Ontario County's Finger Lakes Region, was a newly incorporated village at the time of this map's publishing. Mainly a mill town, paper making was a major product here. The Perry family began publishing the "Shortsville Enterprise" here in 1883. The New York Central Railroad had a stop in Shortsville.
