
This bird’s-eye view print of Young America, Illinois was drawn by Albert Ruger and published by Chicago Lith. Co. in 1869. Young America was established as a stop along the Chicago, Burlington & Quincy Railroad in the 1850's. The railroad service brought much growth to the agricultural community of Young America.
