World Intermediate Physical Pull-Down Map
The Academia Intermediate World physical classroom map illustrates topography using colorful bands of shading to indicate elevation. Gorgeous shaded relief detail featured on the map is derived from SRTM (Shuttle Radar Topography Mission) data collected by NASA. Major cities, national capitals, rivers, lakes, mountain peaks, dry salt lakes, glaciers, latitude/longitude lines, coral reef and ocean bathymetry are all indicated on the map. Country political boundaries as well as U.S. states and Canadian provinces are clearly visible in bold red outlines. Miller Projection is used for the map. Map is politically up-to-date with the latest international name changes.
