Description

This perspective print of Denver, Colorado was drawn by Henry Wellge and published by American Publishing Co. in 1889. Denver was established at the confluence of Cherry Creek and the South Platte River during the Pike’s Peak Gold Rush era of the late 1850's. The map includes labeled streets, bridges, buildings and railroad routes. The state capital building sits in the foreground.

The original print of this antique map has been enhanced to give it a clean, crisp overall tone, contrasted by the addition of blue color tinting to the rivers, skies and oceans. This historic map reproduction is printed on heavy-weight museum quality paper using high quality pigment based inks. Several sizes available.
