 "Goshen, N. Y. is the county seat and center of famous Orange County in the heart of a World famous dairy and stock raising section. On main line of Erie R. R. 18 miles west of Hudson River and 60 miles from New York. Population of village 3500-of township 5000.

  Has many beautiful and well kept homes, a number of thriving manufactories, the several county buildings, fine modern school buildings, handsome churches and public library.

  Streets wide and with concrete and brick improvements. Water, municipal ownership and gravity service. Three Volunteer Fire Companies with motor trucks and pumps.

  Three banks well managed with ample capital and successful records.

  Two newspapers long established and ably conducted.

  Historic track of the Goshen Driving Park Assn. finest half mile track in the U. S. And a mile track used for training purposes.

  Hotel accommodations of the best with up to date equipment and extensive capacity.
Mercantile houses with full supplies of best goods in all lines.

  Further information given by Goshen Board of Trade, an organization alive to the interests of the village, one of the most attractive in the State."
