The panoramic view of Portland looking east to the Cascade Mountains provides a look into the past of Oregon's largest city. Prominent buildings, streets, mountain ranges, and waterways are hand illustrated.

The original print of this antique map has been enhanced to give it a clean, crisp overall tone, contrasted by the addition of blue color tinting to the Willamette and Columbia rivers.
