This panoramic print of Millersville, Pennsylvania was drawn by Thaddeus Mortimer Fowler and published by T. M. Fowler & James B. Moyer in 1894. Millersville was founded by blacksmith and landowner John Miller. The land on which it stood was found to be rich in limestone. The soil was cultivated into fine agricultural fields and pastures mostly by the newly emigrated Swiss and German followers of Menno Simon called Mennonites.
