Description

View of Schwenksville, Montgomery County, P.A., 1894 / drawn & published by T. M. Fowler & James B. Moyer.

This panoramic print of Schwenksville, Pennsylvania was drawn by Thaddeus Mortimer Fowler and published by T. M. Fowler & James B. Moyer in 1894. Schwenksville lies on the banks of Perkiomen Creek, halfway between Collegeville and Perkiomenville along the Reading Railroad’s Perkiomen Valley corridor. Schwenksville, named after blacksmith George Schwenk, was a popular resort town in the 1800's.
