This panoramic print of West Bethlehem, Pennsylvania was drawn by Thaddeus Mortimer Fowler and published by T. M. Fowler & James B. Moyer in 1894. The City of Bethlehem���s neighborhood of West Bethlehem was formed in 1886 at the confluence of Monocacy Creek and the Lehigh River.

In 1904 West Bethlehem became part of Bethlehem.

The area of West Bethlehem had been a closed community for its first hundred years by members of the Moravian church. In the late 1800's West Bethlehem was served by the Central Railroad of New Jersey.

The map from 1894 includes labeled streets, buildings, bridges and railroad routes.
